No. Each pass is a single, one-off payment for a fixed period. We never store your card and never charge you automatically.
Yes. Buy a Platinum pass at any time and it starts immediately. Renewing the same tier adds the new period on to the end of your current pass, so you never lose days you have paid for.

Not necessarily. Memberships granted directly by your tutor stay active for as long as they are set. Check your Account page to see your current membership and its end date.
